Each year Out & About looks for a new location to help promote the wonderful venues we have here in the valley. The first year we were at the beautiful, new La Vigna Event Center at Hecker Pass Winery in Gilroy. Our second bridal show was on a rainy day at Wedgewood Banquet Facility at Eagleridge Golf Course, also in Gilroy. The rain did not seem to dampen anyones spirits and we had a wonderful turn out.

This year, Out & About will hold Bridal Faire 2010 at San Juan Oaks Golf Club, where old world charm meets modern day amenities. San Juan Oaks specializes in wedding receptions of all sizes. The clubhouse is reminiscent of the 200 year old mission located just a few minutes away in the quaint town of San Juan Bautista. San Juan Oaks with its tile roof, wide hallways, broad windows and arched entryways as well as the high ceilings throughout the 19,000 square-foot facility which are punctuated by dramatic exposed wooden trusses and sleek hanging light fixtures will be sure to impress your guests. San Juan Oaks can host events of all sizes and receptions up to 300 guests.

The cuisine at San Juan Oaks is overseen by renowned chef Jose Ramirez who was classically trained in France. Chef Jose and his team at San Juan Oaks will have your guests raving about the menu choices well after your wedding is over. Rachelle Lee Photography is located in Gilroy at the southern tip of the Bay Area. Rachelle specializes in fun, creative and playful portraiture. Mafalda’s Bridal once again supplied the gown and accessories for the photo shoot and for the bride models at the Faire. Mafalda’s Bridal has been serving the community with elegant wedding dresses and accessories for over 18 years. She will be giving all the registered brides at this year’s bridal faire a $100 gift certificate to use in her boutique.

Mindy Palmer, make-up artist and stylist provided the model with a beautiful natural look for the shoot.
