Andy’s Orchard

Each year, Andy’s Orchard in Morgan Hill hosts several fruit tastings where guests are invited to taste and evaluate for themselves the many different fruit varieties they grow. Similar to wine tastings, fruit tastings allow visitors to taste as many as 60 different types at one time. Participants are instructed to look for and taste the special flavors and textures in certain varieties. Sometimes cooking demonstrations are also part of the festivities.
A “Harvest Walk” is their special version of “U-Pick.” often conducted in conjunction with a short tour of the orchard. Your guide will lead you through the orchard where you’re welcome to savor firsthand the various fruits that are ripe at the time. Each participant receives a basket in order to pick his or her favorites. The fruit basket is then carried back to the farm stand for weighing and purchase. (No charge for what you eat while picking!)
All of their fruit is harvested by hand when the fruit is mature. It is never de-fuzzed, dipped in fungicides, waxed or polished—it’s all premium fruit that’s not mass produced but grown in small quantities.

Tours are $15 per person. Seniors are $12 per person. Children under 10 are free. Check ahead to confirm dates. For groups of five or less no reservations are required. For groups of 6 or more, please call ahead. No pets, please.

Directions
Off US 101 in Morgan Hill. Take the Cochrane Road exit and travel east to Mission View Dr. Turn right on Mission View Dr. and continue to Half Road. Turn left at Half Road and travel east about 1/3 of a mile to our entrance sign at 1615 Half Road.
